Technical Specifications
Blizzak W995
Bridgestone, one of the world's most famous tire manufacturers, offers new generation Blizzak W series winter tires for the winter season. These tires once again confirm that years of experience and constantly improved technical solutions yield better results, ensuring the safety of van drivers and passengers on frozen, icy and snowy surfaces and melting snow.
An undeniable advantage is that Bridgestone Blizzak W995 winter tires are adapted and can be used with all the most popular medium-sized vans in Europe. These winter tires also ensure stable and safe driving on both dry and wet road surfaces typical of transitional seasons - spring and autumn, giving drivers more flexibility during seasonal changes.
The new Bridgestone Blizzak W995 winter tires replaced the previous generation Blizzak W965 tires, which received many good ratings from both testers and drivers. The new generation tires demonstrate significant technological progress, confirmed by test results - the new Blizzak W995 winter tires, compared to previous generation Blizzak W965 tires, have significantly increased traction and shortened braking distance on icy surfaces - one of the most important properties for all winter tires. From an economic perspective, the new Bridgestone tires, compared to the previous generation model, reduce road surface rolling resistance by 10%, ensuring significant vehicle fuel savings.
EU Energy Label
The EU Tyre Label provides standardized information about fuel efficiency, wet grip, and external rolling noise of tyres.
- Fuel efficiency – rated A (best) to E (worst). Better rated tyres reduce fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions.
- Wet grip – rated A (best) to E (worst). Better wet grip means shorter braking distance on wet roads.
- Noise level – external rolling noise in decibels (dB). Class A is quietest, C is loudest.
Based on EU Regulation 2020/740, effective from May 2021. View full details on EPREL →
