Hankook Ventus S1 evo2 SUV K117C HRS is a summer high-performance tyre for powerful SUVs and crossovers, built on technology Hankook developed as a tyre supplier to the DTM touring car series. Its highly developed silica compound is tuned for wet grip and confident handling and releases heat more effectively, so the tyre stays composed under load. Multi-functional longitudinal grooves with angled walls channel water away and reduce the risk of aquaplaning, while a wide steel belt keeps the tread stable through corners. The HRS run-flat sidewall follows Hankook's SMH construction of three separate rubber layers that absorb shocks, resist heat and let you drive on after a puncture.

- Fuel efficiency – rated A (best) to E (worst). Better rated tyres reduce fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions.
- Wet grip – rated A (best) to E (worst). Better wet grip means shorter braking distance on wet roads.
- Noise level – external rolling noise in decibels (dB). Class A is quietest, C is loudest.
