Ventus S1 evo2 SUV (K117A)
Hankook Ventus S1 evo2 SUV (K117A) is a summer ultra-high-performance tyre developed for premium SUVs and crossovers. It aims at the best possible balance between wet and dry driving: braking distances are shortened in both conditions, cornering grip stays secure, and low rolling resistance helps keep fuel consumption down. A high-grip silica compound improves dry and wet traction while lowering rolling resistance, a wide steel belt layer sharpens handling, and a high-density rayon and polyester carcass adds sidewall stiffness. A high-stiffness bead filler and a strong single-strand bead wire give a more precise steering response and more uniform running.

The EU Tyre Label provides standardized information about fuel efficiency, wet grip, and external rolling noise of tyres.
- Fuel efficiency – rated A (best) to E (worst). Better rated tyres reduce fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions.
- Wet grip – rated A (best) to E (worst). Better wet grip means shorter braking distance on wet roads.
- Noise level – external rolling noise in decibels (dB). Class A is quietest, C is loudest.
