Medium classHankook iON FlexClimate SUV is an all-season tyre developed for electric and plug-in hybrid SUVs and crossovers. Grip Boost Technology adds stiffness so the tyre can carry the extra weight of an electric vehicle, improving handling and cornering by around 20%, while an aramid fibre reinforcement belt holds the tyre's shape at high speed and sharpens steering response. The ProCoupling compound disperses silica more evenly and improves electric efficiency by up to 8%, Opti Cure Technology keeps rolling resistance low, and Round Even Technology evens out contact pressure to extend tyre life by roughly 20%. Noise is kept down by the sound-absorbing i Sound Absorber material, which cuts cavity noise by up to 6 dBA, and by a zig-zag tread pattern.
